Diagonal purple nailart

Want something cute but elegant at the same time on your nail?

Maybe this is your answer , diagonal purple nailart!!

I used :

- revlon 211 charming as base colour

- the face shop pp404 as tip colour 

- skinfood glipop gold  as lower stripe

 

First, u can apply base coat (optional ) 

Then apply base colour all over your nail, its okay if its going everywhere you can clean it after all set . But if you hate to clean it, use dutch tape around your nails to keep the clean edges. 

After that apply tip colour and place the brush a lil bit diagonal just like at the picture. If you want it to be perfect lined, use dutch tape to make diagonal lines. 

Take your last nail polish for lower stripe , I did it without any dutch tape cuz for me using dutch tape isnt efficient enough , it takes more time , so for this step, I followed the upper tip so it will be perfect diagonal !!

Set it using top coat , and its done!!

How to clean the edges from unwanted nailpolish? Wash your hand and clean it with hand soap slowly until its gone... Wont take long time , dont worry ..

It shouldnt be purple of course , you can try anything you want ..

Studed nails!!

YToo lazy to draw ur nails but want something different on ur nails?

Just try this studed nails... Fast, easy ,yet so funky!!! 

I'm pretty sure u can buy those stud on every shop which sell buttons ... Smaller stud will work better for nailart..

But i got it from my t-shirt which is too much with studs so I just took them off...

Just prepare :

* base coat

* any color nail polish ( I prefer dark color so the studs can really pop! )

* studs

* top coat ( base coat will work too ）

First, apply base coat all over ur nails, wait till dry, then apply your color polish all over your nails, wait till dry, and you can apply second layer of color polis if you like but make sure you apply it after first layer completely dry...

Then apply a dot of top coat wherever you want to stick ur studs... On this nails i applied it on the bottom of nail...

Using pinset, place stud directly on the top coat ( i used top coat as glue )

Apply one by one for each nails 

U also can make different pattern for each nails, but i just did thumbs with different pattern

Since my studs quite big, so there's some gap between my nails and studs.

Seal the gap using top coat , because if u let those gap, it will easily fall off ..,

Seems like its done!!!! But i was feel like those studs too gold, and I don't really like it, so I decided to coat it with my not too gold polish 

See the different? I think its better... So yeah!! My nails ready to rock!!!

Oat cookies recipe!!

Search some yummy snack but worry about the preservative , sugar, fat, etc?

I've been in that sittuation and i found home made oat cookies...

Ingridients are:

100 gr oat (i used quick oat)

3tbs butter (healthier with peanut butter )

3tbs honey (replace the sugar)

10 pieces of peanut/cashew (or more, optional)

1 egg

1/4tsp baking powder 

Let's mix it!!!

1. If you want smooth texture u can use blender to smoothen the oat

2. Mix it all together into a bowl using fork then use ur hand (With plastick gloves of course) 

3. Drop dough by tablespoon onto greased baking sheet ( dont forget to apply some butter on the baking sheet)

4. Bake at 180 celcius for 10 min ( since i use conventional oven , it takes 30 min XD )

Cabbage tuna wrap !!!

Wanna eat a healthy yet yummy food?

But hard to find the easy recipe ?

I found it!!! And lemme share with you how to make it. 

All you need to prepare is :

6   big cabbage leaves (or more if its small)

2   carrots (around 15cm long)

50gr bean sprouts

15 grean beans (idk how gr is it :p )

2 eggs

1 onion

1 can of tuna 

1/4 tsp pepper

For dip: (optional)

Chilli sauce

Teriyaki sauce

Peanut sauce

Let's cook!!!

1. Cut green beans into1cm ,carrots into matches sizes, onion into 1x1 cm 

2. Boil eggs, carrots, cabbage leaves, green beans , bean sprouts (these ingridients have different boiling point, eggs need longest time to boil, and bean sprouts just need 1 min to boil)

3. Stir-fry onion using vegetable oil, then add tuna and pepper , wait until its completely cooked, turn off the stove , add boiled carrots, green beans, bean sprouts and mix it so the filling is done 

4. Cut eggs into small pieces as you like

5. Put some filling around 2tbs or more on the cabbage leaves , put some eggs on top of filling, add some teriyaki sauce and chilli sauce if you want (or u can use those sauce as a dip, optional), roll it and its ready to serve!!!!

Easy healthy yet dellicious right?!!

Textured ombre DIY nail art

Ombre, DIY, nail art , 3 of my favorite words!!! 

So I'm gonna show you how to do textured ombre nail art ...

  All you need is 

1 white nail polish

2 dark blue nail polish or you can change it with another color

3 toothpick

4 base coat + top coat optional

Lets get started !!!

Make sure your nails are clean , put on base coat and wait until dry

Then put on white polish at bottom half from your nail , then immediately put on blue polish to fill the rest of your nail , take your toothpick then scratch the polish between blue and white and you can make some motif using toothpick, clean your toothpick or use another toothpick then scratch the white part so you still get the white color, and do the same thing for the blue part so you also get the original dark blue with texture... Its ok if you scratch the polish until u can see your real nails because thats the point to make it textured.

Do it one by one because you need to do it when the polish still wet 

Aaannnd its done!!! You can put some top coat after it completely dry so you still got the texture ... Its pretty fast manicure , worth to try .... I can do it so do you ... Xoxo

Tools that I used:
1. Revlon - Double Twist
2. Revlon -Top Speed - 430 Chili
3. Revlon - White on White 050
4. The Face Shop -BK901 (black )
5. Eternally - 843 (orange)
6. Eternally - 818 (dark brown )
7. Odessa - 07 (soft pink)
8. OPI - Skyfall (gold gliter )
9. toothpicks
10. Glass bowl (as palette )
11. Acetone 

You shouldn't use exactly the same tools , I just used what I already have..

apply red color after base coat all over your nails, wait until dry 

Draw outline of the horse using black colour with toothpick, including the eye and nose, then fill the body with light brown polish (I mixed dark brown, orange, and white since I dont have light brown or nude polish ), add some white for the eye and nose  to make it more real.

Write chinese characters Using black polish with toothpick 

Apply gold gliter at the tip of your nails  

Since im righty, it's hard to drew my right nails, so I chose easier design, use black polish with toothpick draw some vine and leaves, then add soft pink over the black leaves.. 

Also draw the Chinese characters, after that apply gold gliter on the tip of nails, wait until all of your nails completely dry, then seal them with top coat and voila!!!

Year of the horse!!!

Are you guys excited to welcoming the year of Horse??
Umm...okay maybe some of you dunno about these things,  don't worry I'll explain :)
What is year of horse?  It's one from twelve zodiac according chinese. For this2014 Chinese new year aka Lunar year  will be celebrate on Jan 31,and will be year of horse.... It's lunar year because it's count according lunar or moon, I also dunno how to count it lol... but every year won't be celebrate at the same date...

So what Chinese people do to celebrate Lunar new year?  It depends , but mostly we will gather with the "Big" family to eat together, give red envelopes to kids and parents (usually you will receive red envelopes until your twenties or until you married , after married it's ur turn to give ur parents ), cleaning house before the big day ( Chinese people believe if you clean on that big day, you also sweep away your fortune ) ,pray to Gods and ancestors.....

And I did nailart to welcoming the year of horse. ...

Holiday is totally over.....

Wow...I did my first blog!!  Let's move on then... 

Ooh jeezz.... what date is today?  I always forget about date during holiday... being sick since Sunday make me so so so unproductive...  Hope tomorrow I can start my day..  Well, I won't write about the rest of my holiday, but I'll share some pics.... wait for it

5th Jan
Mommy's going home!!!
Her flight was in the 7Pm, so we spent the whole noon at my boarding house with the owner.  Played with two little naughty lovely smart cute kids,chat,  and we went out at 3Pm to the airport, have some brunch + dinner at Carl's Junior... yea we ate a lot... a...lot..and we said good bye after that, and I went home...

6th Jan
I woke up quite late (around 9am XD ) .... I should go to airport to pick up my friend from Hangzhou, Jefri....  He is Indonesian but study there actually and came to Singapore for short holiday.. So I met him, went to his hotel to check in but we should wait one hour, then I have appointment with my classmate, Amanda,  at our school to ask about my certificate, scores, portfolio stuff... She is Chinese but soon to be Singaporean maybe (because I dont really know about Singapore's law) because she married with Singaporean... She just like my elder sister ...funny, kind, mature, independent.... Back to our activities, after that we went to Plaza Singapore to watch movie...Amanda treat us but I'm the one whom choose the movie...  I chose Frozen :| ...there's lot of choices but why i chose it... idk... but I like it!!  :)
Around 5Pm we went to Chinatown to have dinner at Sichuan restaurant... So good but so full... we walked around to calm down our full belly and Amanda asked to go to hotel which shaped like ship... I was curious, 3 months in Singapore but I never see that place... "你怎么笨，在新加坡多久还不知道这个地方..“ she mocked me in chinese (how stupid are you, how long you've been in Singapore and you dunno this place..) she explained in chinese to Jefri since my chinese not so good and she grabbed her phone and showed us the picture... it was Marina Bay Sands!!!  Why she didn't tell us hotel with ship at the top of the building since the begining!!!  Lol... we went there and here some picture of our story...

7th Jan
Woke up around 10am again!!  Prepared, and met my another sister (my landlord ) ce Jely, to teach her how to apply false eyelash, less than 10 minutes and she did it!!  Quite fast for beginer right?  And I went to Robertson Quay hotel to pick up Jefri with "I left my wallet on my shelf " drama which is I hate it... 12Pm Jefri plan to meet his friend,February, at Tim Ho Wan resto at Plaza Singapore which is never have short queue... but it quite short when we reached there, after that went to vivo to meet another Jefri's friend, and we said good bye at 3Pm , but we will meet Febri at night.. I back to my home to change, because suddenly two of my classmate ask me to going out at Clarke Quay, I said yes because the next day I should back to Indonesia tanah airku.... 6Pm went to Promenade Mrt to go to Singapore's Flyer... but the sun haven't down yet so we wait until 7.30Pm when the sky dark and lights are on.... after this we have some dinner with Febri at Clarke Quay, and I got message that my friends canceled our plan because of something important. It's late enough so I should catch my Mrt train.... suddenly someone called my name "Celli!!"... who is she?  Taraaaa she is ce Elly!!  She also study at Hangzhou, and it's been a semester I'm not seeing her since I finished my language program. So unpredictable I can met her..... and I successfully home, sleep, and ready to back home.

8th Jan
6.30 and I woke up to say good bye with Aiden and Aaron,  two little naughty lovely smart cute lil kids .... I will miss them... and yup... I miss them now.... 8 am I grabbed a taxi, met Jefri because we also went to different part in Indonesia, suddenly I saw something broke my heart at instagram...my big bro posted pic one of my dog with RIP.... she died.... I was crying because she has been part of our fam for these 11years....crazy dog but I loved her.... bye Auzora von DelPierro ....
Times flies, I  was fly, and here I am at the airport..... my grandma,one of my cousin,  and my second bro pick me up, have lunch, walked around, and I'm home!!!


Yea I'm home but still enjoy my days until now....
Ouuuw yea I did some henna for fun to fill up my pleasure: ))))
so I'm done for today, hoping for total recover  tomorrow so I can do what I already plan, bless me God....

New year new adventure

Wohooo.... 2014 is here!!!  My second new year eve abroad but this time my mom come to visit me.  How's ur new year eve? We spent it at Clarke Quay ,there's some attraction such as Good Fellas band, games, and shows....It was awesome: )  2am we decided to back home, quite hard to found taxi. We saw many drunk peps, one man was passed out and his friends left him but fortunately one foreign woman has a heart like an angel yelled at security to call taxi send him to hospital because none of them take care of him. And i dunno what happened next because I got my taxi.

First day in 2014....
we woke up very late.... around 11... after we prepared we went to Boon Keng mrt station to found the legendary chicken rice Boon Tong Kee.... best chicken rice in town....after that we  went to Sentosa island through vivo then walked crossed the bridge , it just cost 1sgd each person, better than monorail.... we shouldn't queue, and we can watch beautiful scenery just need less than 10 minutes to reach Sentosa island.We went to Siloso and Palawan beaches...  Siloso win my heart... But I'm not comparing with another beach out of Singapore...

Second day...
I plan to meet my sisters from another mother and another father at MBS mall... but i can't contact her anymore because she didn't have internet connection ...so i brought my mom to Garden by the Bay... we just walked a quarter of the garden and sunshine beaten my mom.... sooo hooot..... so we went to MBS mall have lunch, then walked around and sit at bench inside the mall... suddenly i heard familiar voice called my name.. "Celliiii!!!"  ... OMG it was her!!!  Finally we met... after an hour we said goodbye and plan to meet at Surabaya later... So we went to Nex mall at Serangoon mrt station to bought some chocolate and coffee... and my mom decided to bought some toys for my landlord's kids... transformers robot is their favorite toys... since i dunno very well i just guess which one they dont have and ask mom to choose....  It's not a bad idea to choose based of the color.... hahah.... and fortunately they didn't have those yet and they was very happy.... and we planned to go Johor the next day.. Then someone knocked my door.... OMG ko Martono (my landlord ) gave us durian mouse..... gain weight gain weight!!! extremely delicious!!!

Third day...
We went through Bugis mrt then walked to bus station.... 2.5 sgd each person.... hmmm quite cheap right... ok we went to Singapore's immigration then Malaysia's immigration and I got trouble because they thought that I am a worker who want to extent visa but I'm not... ( yes i did 2months ago with 2 of my classmate to extended my visa because I took short course for Diploma in professional makeup artistry but we caught at Singapore's immigration when we went back from Johor,so I won't do the same thing again!!) We passed... so we just walked around City square mall, watched 47 Ronin which is Wow.. I like it... have some lunch and snacks then 4.30 went back since I knpwknow I will get another trouble in immigration... and trawl!!! This time WE caught not just me but my mom also even we haven't reach the immigration office... two officer called us and asked us to go inside machine, look at the camera and the machine blown us with some air... and they let us in... no more problem at immigration office then... phew!!!  We went back to bugis, have dinner and walked around there and we decided to back and take a rest.... after i took a bath i chat with my landlord... they were wrapping gifts for their kid's friend and for their second son whom will has birthday at 20th January.... it was lot of fun and i back to my room found my mom already sleep... so I decided to try write this blog but always failed when I tried to post it.... not just once or twice....and I choose to sleep then.

Fourth day which is today!!!
My landlord invited us to have some lunch with them in Thailand restaurant opposite their condominium... before it me and mom played with their boys.... hahha lot of fun... they are very naughty but in a good way... after that me and mom went to orchard and they went to serangoon...me and mom bought Sticky candy for my mommy friend whom also my mentor and my sister from another blood.... and i was very sleepy so we weny to Old Town cafe... I ordered cold hazelnut white coffee  and hot mocha coffe for mom.... and here I am writing this blog... hope i can post it... #Finggercrossed....
